If you have been upstairs in the last few days, you may have noticed that we have put all of our members’ names on the glass. This is the new CFR goal board! Here you can put down a goal that you are going to accomplish over the next month.
We started this board for a couple different reasons. The first is that we are very proud and appreciate that you are a member here and we want to show it! Another reason is that we want to remind you of why you show up and work so hard. Having your goal written down and in front of you, is a big key to helping you achieve it. As you write your goal picture yourself actually accomplishing it! How do you feel?
Markers are available at the reception desk and you can write whatever goal you would like, but if you need some help, here are a few suggestions:
Drink 100 oz of water per day
Attend Smart Group 3 times a week
Eat clean for 5 days every week
Have a veggie with dinner every day.
Eat breakfast every day.
One great thing about the goals above is that they are measurable goals completely in your control. While there is nothing wrong with wanting to lose belly fat or a certain number of pounds, there are plenty of steps to get you there, which can make great “mini” goals.
Goals like these also help you to stay on track and accountable. In our 8 Weeks to Wellness Program, we base a lot of our success on these “mini” goals. If you can stay consistent with setting mini goals they will not only help you achieve that bigger goal of losing belly fat but also help you stay on track without being so overwhelmed. Also, doesn’t it feel just awesome setting a goal and achieving it? And after you have reached that goal, you can erase it and start a new challenge!
