This is a quick and nutritious side dish to pair with a protein; my favorite is chicken.  I always make this if I am short on time or don’t want to spend a lot of time in the kitchen.


Olive oil

½-3/4 bag of spinach

1 rounded tsp of garlic, chopped

Juice from ½ a lemon



Heat skillet over medium heat.

Add just enough olive oil to lightly cover the bottom of your skillet.

Add garlic.

Add the spinach to the skillet

Turn/mix the leaves with the oil and garlic.

Squeeze the lemon juice over the spinach.

Continue to turn the spinach until all of it has wilted.
