They can be used for lots of different exercises in many different ways. We have included a video with several of our favorite medicine ball exercises and how to do them!
USE THEM FOR NO IMPACT CARDIO
Bad knees? No problem. Trade running and jumping for medicine ball slams of all kinds. Raise your heart rate and get your sweat on, pain free.
Power training isn’t about moving a lot of weight. It’s moving weight as fast as you can. Medicine balls are an amazing way to train power. Learn to use your whole body to generate force while also conserving energy. Excellent for athletes and fun for everyone. It’s not everyday we get to throw things at stuff as hard as we can! 😉
LOW RISK OF INJURY
Medicine ball exercises are great power training exercises. Exercises like barbell power cleans and kettlebell swings present a much higher risk of injury. These are some of the best exercises for developing power but again, a lot of people get hurt doing them. Medicine balls are easily accessible, the vast majority of humans can perform medicine ball slams, and you get much of the same benefits as other power training exercises, there just isn’t as much load.
